Bolaji Gabari (Chairman)

Bolaji Gabari is an Associate Partner at S. P. A. Ajibade & Co. and is in charge of the Abuja office of the Firm.

Her areas of practice include Corporate and Commercial law, Legal advisory, Corporate Governance, Company Secretarial & Regulatory compliance, Arbitration and Intellectual property.

She has acquired considerable litigation and dispute resolution skills across several turfs in litigation ranging from Real estate and Property matters, Corporate and Commercial disputes, Debt recovery and Criminal litigation especially in the area of Human Rights Enforcement.

She has extensive government relations experience coupled with a strong understanding of government processes and regulatory agencies located in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

She belongs to several associations including the Nigerian Bar Association, the International Bar Association, the International Trademarks Association and is currently Chairman of the Abuja Chapter of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria.

She holds an LL.B., degree from the Lagos State University, and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2003. She obtained an Advanced Certificate in Arbitration from the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (UK) in 2013 and a Masters in International Affairs & Strategic Studies from the Nigerian Defence Academy that same year.

She also holds a Master of Laws degree in Technology Law and Intellectual Property Law from the University of Liverpool, in the United Kingdom.

She is a Notary Public of the Supreme Court of Nigeria.


 

Adedeji Adeniyi (Vice Chairman)

Adedeji Adedeji is a lawyer by profession, an arbitrator and a regulatory Compliance consultant in the Nigerian financial sector. Adedeji is a law graduate from the University of Ibadan. He recently completed his LLM program at the same institution.

He commenced his journey into the legal profession in Nigeria when he joined Awomolo & Associates as an in-house counsel. In order to have an experience in practical corporate governance, Adedeji joined Trustfund Pensions’ Limited where he served as the compliance officer, regulatory liaison personnel and company secretary.

Adedeji presently is the Company secretary/Legal Adviser at Maywall Synergy Limited, A construction firm operating in Abuja and Lagos.

Adedeji has written articles on interesting subjects such as the social media, corporate governance, real estate etc.

Adedeji is a member of reputable professional bodies such as the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria (ICSAN), International Council for Commercial Arbitration (ICCA) and Young International Arbitration Group (YIAG).

In the realm of humanitarian services, Adedeji is a member of Rotary International and he is also an analyst with Amnesty International.

Adedeji was a recipient of the Rotary Youth Leadership Award (RYLA) by Rotary International (District 9110, Lagos). He is a public speaker, Chartered Company Secretary, a writer and peer educator. His hobbies include singing, playing the piano, playing lawn tennis and watching games of Arsenal Football Club of England.


 

Gloria Odita (Secretary)

She attended the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife,Osun State where she obtained a Bachelors Degree in Law (LL.B) and was called to the Nigerian Bar (B.L). She holds a Masters Degree in Law from the University of Lagos. She is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, UK also an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria. She has a certificate in Leadership in Corporate Counsel From the Harvard Law School.

She held positions as the Social Scribe and Baron in the renowned philanthropic Percipi Club Obafemi Awolowo University Branch, which has to its credit the attendance of renowned Nigerians to its various philanthropic programmes.

Mrs. Odita started her working career with the law firm of Fola Akirinsola, Ojo & Co as a junior counsel, where she was actively involved in Solicitors work and single handedly set up and provided the structure of the firms Legal Library; she later joined the law firm of O.Modupe Finny & Co. as an Associate where through her commitment and sterling qualities rose to the position of Head of Chambers/Administration.

Whilst in the employment of O.Modupe Finnih & Co she worked as consultant Company Secretary to several of the firms’ client Companies in the Oil & Gas, Shipping /Maritime Industry, banking, telecoms and service industries.

She joined Sea Petroleum and Gas group in 2008 as Group Company Secretary/Legal Adviser.

Mrs. Odita brings with her wealth of experience garnered over the years in Negotiation and Settlement, Land Acquisition /Property law, Intellectual property, Debt Recovery, Maritime law, and Private international Law. She has attended several management courses, seminars and business development/diversification meetings on behalf of the group within and outside the country.

She is currently the Principal of Zenas Solicitors 


 

Babayemi Olaniyan (Assistant Secretary)

Babayemi Olaniyan is graduate of the University of Jos. He is an ADR practitioner and also legal practitioner. He was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2015.

His core areas of interest are Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) and Corporate/Commercial Law practice.

He is an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators (ICMC), a Certified Trainer with (ICMC), an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (UK), an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria, A Certified Dispute Resolution Specialist and a Certified ADR Registrar with the Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry Dispute Resolution Centre.

He is the company secretary of distinct companies in Nigeria. He currently works with Abdullahi Ibrahim & Co in Abuja, with branches in Lagos and Kaduna. 


 

Wandoo Aigbangbee (Treasurer/Financial Secretary)

Wandoo is a Lawyer with over 18 years legal experience spanning litigation, commercial law, energy services, microfinance, corporate Governance and company Secretariat services.

She has an LLM in law and an MSc in Corporate Governance and Business Ethics.

She is an Associate member of the ICSA and currently works at Nirsal Microfinance Bank as Ag. Head Legal Services /Secretariat.

 

 


 

Jennifer Nzomiwu (Social/Publicity Secretary)

Nzomiwu, Jennifer Ugonna is an alumna of Madonna University (2010). She gained entry to the Nigerian Law School same year and post-qualification, was admitted to the Nigerian Bar on the 14th of February, 2012.

She litigated for few years before registering the ICSAN exams in December 2015; qualified in December 2016.

She has since registered her practice - The Blind Goddess Solicitors, whilst seeking an opportunity to apply herself in the field of Corporate practice.

She is a Notary Public.
