Individuals are conferred with Membership of the Institute after they have passed the requisite examinations.
Examinations
To register as a student and sit for the examinations of the Institute, interested persons must possess a minimum of the WAEC/NECO (O’ levels) with five (5) credits including Mathematics and English.
Examinations are held in June and December of every year.

Exemption Policy
Non-degree holders will start from the foundation stage. They must however possess the minimum entry requirement which is five O-level credits that must include English Language and Mathematics.
Graduates with related degrees (ICSAN’S CPA, B.Sc./HND Accounting, LL.B, and B.Sc/HND Finance) are exempted from all subjects in Foundation, Pre Professional and Professional Programme Part One(1) stages, such degree holders shall be required to write and pass all the subjects in Professional Programme Part Two(2).
Non-related degrees holders are exempted from Foundation, Pre Professional, Strategic and Operations Management and Management Accounting in Professional Programme Part 1 and shall be required to write and pass six subjects i.e. Corporate Law and Financial Accounting in Professional Programme Part1 and the subjects in Professional Programme Part 2.
Holders of professional qualifications (ACA, ACCA, CIMA and CIBN) are exempted from all subjects in Foundation, Pre Professional and Professional Programme Part 1 stages, such degree holders shall be required to write and pass all the subjects in Professional Programme Part 2.
